I am qualified as an Integrative Counsellor, using various theories to address a variety of concerns, including:

Person Centred: Client Talking Therapy.

Psychodynamic: Exploring childhood and deep-rooted issues.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy: Working together to resolve present day concerns.

Solution Focused: A goal directed collaborative approach.

Transactional Analysis: A form of modern psychology that involves a set of practical conceptual tools designed to promote personal growth and change.

Integrative therapy is a combined approach to psychotherapy that brings together different elements of specific therapies. Integrative therapists take the view that there is no single approach that can treat each client in all situations.

I also imaligimate science with spirituality, identifying that we have the power of our internal strength, to change the structure of our brain.

You can eliminate old thought patterns and habbits, and create new, by way of neuroplasticity.

I am available for home visits, office apt’s, also walk & talk.

  • Walk & Talk Therapy is conducted outdoors; being surrounded by nature can be meditative and grounding.

  • Walking releases endorphin's through physical activity which can elevate your mood and spur more creative, deeper ways of thinking. Physical activity has also been shown to reduce levels of depression and anxiety and can help to prevent depressive symptoms.

  • You may find yourself anxious when confronting and talking about difficult issues in the traditional seated, face-to-face interaction. Walking in parallel with visual distractions may allow for easier engagement.

“When a person realises he has been deeply heard, his eyes moisten. I think in some real sense he is weeping for joy. It is as though he were saying, "Thank God, somebody heard me. Someone knows what it's like to be me.”

Carl Rogers. A Way of Being (1995).
